Church

Here you can find out more about our weekly programme.

Adults

We welcome people of all ages to our church. Adults are invited to our Sunday morning worship services, which are family orientated, and also to our Sunday evening worship meetings.

We have housegroups each week where we study the bible, which we believe contains important teaching and messages from God. We also talk to God through prayer at these meetings.

Occasionally, we hold classes about Christianity for people who are not familiar with God or the church. If you would like to learn more about God, or if you would like any more information about us, please get in touch.

Pensioners

Senior citizens are invited to come to our luncheon club each Tuesday. There is a nominal fee, but everyone has a good time, and few people ever go home fed up. (Well not in that sense, anyway!)

Youth

Many activities are organised for the youth attending the church. They have their own special weekly meeting (we have GenXsus on Monday evenings from 7.00 - 8.30pm., and music tuition and games on Saturday afternoon too). Most of what we do is held at the church, but on other occasions the teens enjoy trips out.

Children

Jesus had a lot of time for children and young people, and we try to do as much as we can to welcome children into the church, and to involve them in church life.

Special classes are held for children who attend our Kids Church on Sunday mornings from 10.45-11.00am. We also have a midweek meeting, similar to Brownies or Beavers called Caravan. We have many activities at these meetings, and we try to encourage children in social skills, as well as giving spiritual guidance, in an atmosphere of fun and play.

Infants

We welcome children of all ages into our church. Babies and infants are looked after in our creche during our Sunday meetings. We also run a play group on Wednesday mornings for pre-school children living near to the church. This is called Toddle-in. Parents or carers can come and enjoy a chat and a coffee, while the children entertain themselves with the toys.
